Keep this in mind when doing an online job search!

Most online job database websites have a filtering system which screens and displays the ads posted by date. Most of the time, it is actually the fault of the job seeker since he/she indicated in his/her query a limitation (regarding dates) on what ads should be posted (i.e. most recent). Come to think of it, if 100 people (including you) viewed that ad and applied for that job, then that would mean you have around 99 competitors. What you can do is click on the next page of the returned ads (based on your queries) and look for a job posting that dates about 3 – 4 weeks ago. If you are lucky enough to find a job opening (considering the duration of time), then by all means, apply.
